Wiring question for splicing headlights

Heya, I had a couple questions regarding modifying my car's lighting. I have a Honda Fit I pour too much money into, and I wanted to install a glowing Honda emblem on the front. However I have a couple questions/concerns since I'm not super duper experienced with car wiring;
The instructions say to splice into the headlights, but I was thinking of instead splicing into the parking lights, since they blink when car is remotely locked/unlocked. However, since those bulbs are tiny, would doing such risk drawing too much power from the bulb in some way, or does it not matter?
I already have some electrical add-ons, like interior LEDs for the floor and a Dashcam, as well as an aftermarket, more intensive stereo. I did upgrade my battery (currently 51R), but I'm worried if I wire up yet another electrical unit (the emblem), then it might be too much for my little car to handle, even with the bigger battery.
Sorry if these are silly or basic, I'm just unfamiliar and want to be on the safe side, thanks!
TL;DR: Is splicing into small parking lights okay instead of headlights for a front glowing emblem mod? And will it draw significant power which risks overloading my battery if I already have other electrical mods?
