VW passat gte 2018 rattle sound/engine sound.

Hi everyone,

I have a VW Passat GTE and there’s a strange engine noise that no one has been able to figure out. I’ve already spoken to three different mechanics: one thinks it might be the lifters (tappets), another suspects the timing belt tensioner, and a third says it’s just a normal sound for this car.

I’m going to attach a video so you can hear the noise for yourselves. If anyone has experienced something similar or has any idea what it might be, I’d really appreciate your help. I’m trying to avoid going to the VW dealership and spending a fortune, only to find out it’s something simple.
